Join our Scientific Operations team as a Lab Scientist

Quality Assistance S.A. is a leading European Contract Research Organisation providing the pharmaceutical industry with all the analytical services required by EMA and FDA regulations for the development and marketing of innovative human medicinal products.

Quality Assistance works on innovative medicinal products under development (preclinical and clinical phases). The projects are on the validation and/or application of analytical methods for the characterisation and quality control of (bio)molecules.


Working in a team involved in projects outsourced by our clients, as a Scientist, you will develop, validate and apply analytical methods, based on a protocol and with some scientific assistance. You will also process data and write reports and associated supporting documents.

We are looking for three Lab Scientists to join the team:

Laboratory – SCIENTIST – ICP

Start date: June - August 2017
JOB 028

The analytical technique used is mainly ICP (Inductively Coupled Plasma).
Skills required: Very good theoretical knowledge and practical experience of ICP-MS.
Assets: Good theoritical knowledge and practical experience of ICP-OES, HPLC – Waters Alliance, BioAlliance and/or UPLC - Acquity, H-Class, IClass

Laboratory – SCIENTIST – LC

Start date: July - September 2017

The analytical techniques used are liquid chromatography coupled to all types of detector (UV, DAD, fluorescence, RI, CAD, PAD, conductivity) and gas chromatography.
Skills required: Very good theoretical knowledge and practical experience of Waters LC systems (Alliance, UPLC Acquity / H-Class / I-Class).
Asset: Good knowledge and practical experience of Dionex on small molecules and Gas Chromatography.

Laboratory – SCIENTIST – LC&GC

Start date: June - August 2017

Education

Master / Engineer (or PhD), specialisation Analytical Chemistry or Biochemistry.

Required

Knowledge of the pharmaceutical sector and GMP quality norms.

Language skills

In addition to proficiency in French, good command of English

Experience

Required

At least 2 years’ practical experience in similar position and in development and validation of analytical methods in aforementioned techniques.
