Andrew+ (Waters) is a fully automated pipetting robot for sample preparation. Its arm is capable of loading different tools and to transfer samples across tubes, vials and plates. It can also heat, shake and clean samples. 

The system offers rapid and reproducible sample handling for various types of applications with already developed protocols for the use of several kits.  Custom protocols can be developed to fit with precise Standard Operating Procedures for handling a high number of samples with high reproducibility.

This robot is piloted by OneLab, a compliant-ready software, with a user-friendly interface and we be used for the following applications: 

• Digestion of proteins into peptides for HPLC and MS sequencing (peptide mapping),
• Glycan release and labelling for the detection of glycosylation patterns of monoclonal antibodies,
• Bioanalytical sample preparation with automated solid phase extraction (SPE),
• Automation of liquid handling steps for quantitative study (standard curve and sample preparation).
