NEW EQUIPEMENT AT QUALITY ASSISTANCE

 

Quality Assistance_SQD2

 

Quality Assistance recently acquired a 2nd Waters Corporation Single Quadrupole Mass Detector (SQD2).  This detector allows for the routine analysis of NCEs, including oligonucleotides and peptides, and provides optimum performance and excellent reproducibility. This detector is controlled by Empower, and is linked to a new UPLC H-Class+, increasing our capacity in liquid chromatography for routine analysis.

 

Quality Assistance_KingFisher Flex

 

Thanks to the acquisition of our 2nd ThermoFisher KingFisher Flex, we have extended our capacity for the automatic process of nucleic acids, proteins or cell samples. The KingFisher Flex system offers rapid and reproducible purification of high-quality DNA, RNA, proteins and cells for various types of applications:

  • Quantification of residual host cell DNA or host cell proteins
  • Detection of mycoplasma contamination
  • Digestion of proteins
  • And more.

Quality Assistance_MALDI TOF

 

This new MALDI-TOF system, the Bruker autoflex maX is a matrix-assisted laser desorption ionisation (MALDI) with tandem time of flight (TOF/TOF) mass spectrometer. It allows for the analysis of a broad spectrum of molecules and supports a wide range of applications amongst which:

This equipment offers increased speed and power and is 21 CFR Part 11 compliant.

 

Quality Assistance_AF4

 

To extend our capacity for viral vectors, biotherapeutics, vaccines and mRNA-based therapies analytics, Quality Assistance has acquired a 2nd SEC-AF4/MALS system. The DAWN® SEC-MALS System and  ECLIPSE® AF4 System are 21 CFR Part 11 compliant and can be then used in a GxP-compliant environment.

Quality Assistance _ DLS Zetasizer

 

The Malvern DLS Zetasizer Ultra Red Label is a combined DLS and ELS system. It allows for:

  • The measurement of particle and molecular size
  • The analysis of particle concentration for a wide range of material (requiring little or no dilution), with a higher resolution view into the sample’s size distribution.

It can be used for viral vectors. This equipment is available in a BL2 environment at Quality Assistance.
