𝐏𝐲𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐞𝐧 𝐭𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 is a regulatory requirement to ensure the product quality and safety of pharmaceutical products. The reference for this testing is the 𝐋𝐀𝐋 𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐚𝐲, 𝐛𝐮𝐭 𝐢𝐭 𝐨𝐧𝐥𝐲 𝐪𝐮𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐞𝐬 #pyrogens 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 #endotoxin 𝐬𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐜𝐞𝐬. 

At QUALITY ASSISTANCE S.A., we have worked on the validation of a 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐨𝐜𝐲𝐭𝐞 𝐀𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐓𝐞𝐬𝐭 (𝐌𝐀𝐓) 𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐏𝐲𝐫𝐨𝐌𝐀𝐓™ 𝐤𝐢𝐭. The MAT is used as an alternative compendial method to deal with this unmet analytical need because it has the advantage to 𝐪𝐮𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐲 𝐦𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐛𝐨𝐭𝐡 𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐨𝐭𝐨𝐱𝐢𝐧𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐧𝐨𝐧-𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐨𝐭𝐨𝐱𝐢𝐧 𝐩𝐲𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐬.
