Damien Mouvet

Damien Mouvet is Senior Scientific Manager at Quality Assistance, where he drives strategic scientific development in the fields of oligonucleotides, mRNA, viral vectors, and chemical entities. With more than 25 years of experience in pharmaceutical analysis, he plays a key role in the implementation of new analytical platforms, scientific and regulatory monitoring, and external representation of the company at international conferences and congresses.

Since joining Quality Assistance in 1999, Damien has held several leadership roles, including Senior Analytical Team Manager, where he oversaw multidisciplinary teams, enhanced laboratory efficiency, and integrated cutting-edge analytical technologies. His expertise spans method development, validation, transfer, and stability studies for both small molecules and large biomolecules.

Damien is an active contributor to regulatory and scientific working groups. Since 2024, he has represented Belgium in the NANO Working Party of the European Pharmacopoeia and the Belgian Pharmacopoeia Commission. He has also been a member of the SFSTP working group on Analytical Quality by Design (AQbD) since 2017.

Through his deep technical knowledge and strategic foresight, Damien contributes to maintaining Quality Assistance’s position at the forefront of analytical science and innovation.
