As a Logistics Assistant in our Samples team, you’ll play an important role in ensuring that every sample reaches the laboratory under the right conditions, supporting the development of therapies that change lives. Your work will directly contribute to accelerating access to innovative medicines for patients worldwide.
Your key responsibilities
Here's what you will take ownership of:
- Ensure full traceability of samples from reception to archiving
- Guarantee sample integrity by monitoring physical condition and storage compliance
- Make samples available to the laboratory in a timely manner
- Manage deposits in the sample library and stability storage in agreement with the laboratory
- Proactively handle archiving or destruction of remaining sample quantities
- Act as a key contact for internal and external stakeholders
- Perform inventories and maintain accurate follow-up
- Contribute to equipment management
Skills you'll need to bring
To succeed in this role, you'll bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Medical Secretary qualification, or scientific orientation, or proven experience in a similar role
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to plan and monitor tasks effectively
- Autonomy combined with clear communication within the team
- Customer service mindset for internal and external interactions
- Proficiency with IT tools (Microsoft 365 and adaptability to internal systems)
- Knowledge of GxP or experience in a regulated environment with strict procedures and related documentation
- Good written and spoken English (A2 level minimum)
- Experience in a similar role, in a warehouse or similar sector is an asset
