As an Accountant at Quality Assistance, you will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of our financial operations, crucial elements that support the analytical services enabling faster access to life‑changing therapies.

Your key responsibilities

Here's what you will take ownership of:

  • Record purchase invoices and prepare supplier payment files
  • Process financial entries, including bank transactions and credit card operations
  • Support monthly, quarterly and annual closing activities through account reconciliations
  • Prepare the monthly VAT return and manage foreign VAT recovery requests
  • Check profit and loss accounts and reconcile balance sheet accounts each month
  • Record transactions and monthly closing entries in line with Belgian accounting standards
  • Contribute to internal projects aimed at improving administrative and financial processes

Skills you'll need to bring

To succeed in this role, you'll bring:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
  • At least 3 years’ experience in a similar role within a medium or large company
  • Strong knowledge of Belgian accounting principles and standards
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Familiarity with Winbooks and/or Odoo is an asset
  • Solid expertise in VAT and corporate taxation (ISOC)
  • Accuracy, autonomy, organisational strength and a proactive mindset
  • Ease in collaborating within a team and communicating with internal stakeholders, clients and suppliers
  • A minimum English level of B1 (CEFR)
