KingFisher Flex

The KingFisher Flex is a device that automatically processes nucleic acids, proteins or cell samples.

The system offers rapid and reproducible purification of high-quality DNA, RNA, proteins and cells for various types of applications.

KingFisher Flex (ThermoFisher) can be used in order to:

• Quantify residual host cell DNA (CHO, E.coli, HEK,…) or host cell proteins (CHO HCP or protein A) in pharmaceutical products
• Detect mycoplasma contamination in biotherapeutics or in culture supernatants
• Digest proteins for HPLC and MS peptide mapping
• Isolate specific cell populations (CD8+ or CD4+ T-cells, regulatory T-cells, monocytes…) from PBMCs or directly from blood
• Purify samples by immunoprecipitation before mass spectrometric analyses.
