At Quality Assistance, every instrument tells a story. And when its journey in our laboratories comes to an end, that doesn’t mean its usefulness does. Quite the opposite!

As part of our WeCareWeAct program, we extend the life of our laboratory equipment by donating it to academic institutions for educational and research purpose. It’s a meaningful and responsible approach that reflects our commitment to sustainable innovation and knowledge sharing.

State-of-the-art equipment, purposefully reused

Rather than storing or recycling our instruments immediately, we give them a new mission: to help train the next generation of scientists. Recently, we donated:

  • 2 automatic titrator to ECPM
  • 567 LC columns to ECPM
  • 1 incubator to HEPH – Condorcet

These fully functional pieces of equipment are now being used in higher education institutions to enhance hands-on learning and support academic research.

A win-win approach

This reuse not only helps reduce our environmental footprint but also strengthens student students’ skills by giving them access to professional-grade equipment. It’s a practical way to prepare them for the realities of the biopharma and biotech industries, while making the most of existing resources.

What about the future?

We’re continuing to identify equipment that can be repurposed for educational use. Each donation is an opportunity to build bridges between industry and academia, and to support the talents who will shape the future of our sector.
